Success at the APO for Contamac
Contamac is celebrating another triumph after attending the XXXII APO Parana’s Ophthalmology Congress, held in the stunning location of the Estacao Convention Centre Brazil, over the 21st / 22nd / 23rd June 2007.
As an invited guest speaker, Dr Richard Young gave the congress attendees an educational presentation on the Plasma Surface Treatment of Contact Lenses, he was also in demand throughout the exhibition for consultation on the Contamac stand alongside the Sales Team members Michele Backhurst and Domenico Capasso.
Dr Tania Schaefer commented that it was a “pleasure” having the Contamac team attending the APO and Ricardo Prochnow from Optolentes remarked “Contamac is one of the only manufacturers investing in R&D nowadays, and that fills us, the contact lens manufacturers, with confidence in your (Contamac) materials”.
Contamac also held a raffle on the stand, for the opportunity to win an Apple I POD. Over 60 entries were received but the overall lucky winner was Dr Alessandra Porcaro (Pictured receiving her prize from Contamac’s Michele Backhurst and Dr Richard Young).
Contamac would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers of the APO for the hospitality provided to the Contamac team and congratulate everyone who took part on this victorious event, we look forward to all future collaborations with the SOBLEC (Brazilian Association of Contact Lenses).
