Contamac and Contamac B.V. Success at the ESCRS Exhibition 2007
The Stockholm International Fairs and Congress Centre was the exciting venue for the XXV Congress of the ESCRS, held on 8-12 September.
At the exhibition Contamac took the opportunity to introduce Contamac BV and their renowned Opteq Series of sub-micron, CNC controlled, precision machinery. Ken Payne the MD of Contamac BV reported an overwhelming positive response to the lathe, which has already obtained a loyal following in the contact lens sector, and as a direct result of the ESCRS several new projects are now under discussion.
Our materials also attracted a lot of interest, particularly the latest blue light blocking option, which is now available throughout the product range. Contamac continues to convey its message to customers and prospects alike, that the future is very much in focus. Derek Wilson, Business Development Manager, remarked: “The industry is going through some exciting times. Contamac continues to be at the forefront of material developments and remains the preferred material supplier for many of the leading manufacturers, worldwide”.
