Contamac Focus on Plasma Treated Lenses for the VdC Exhibition
The Technical University of Berlin was this year’s venue for the 49th annual congress of the VdC (Verein der deutschen Contactlinsenspezialisten) held on the 6th and 7th October 2007.
Over 450 contact lens specialists and students took the opportunity to attend the show to visit the numerous exhibitors and the interesting spread of lectures ranging from developments in lenses to patient care and marketing your optical outlet.
Contamac took the opportunity to talk to attendees about the industry’s hot topic of Plasma Treated lenses and provided a German translated handout of the acclaimed article “Plasma Basics” by Contamac’s Dr Tristan Tapper, which was well received.
As always Contamac was delighted to donate two prizes for the exhibition’s charity auction, which in total raised £1000 for the Eyesight Project in Cambodia run by the Berlin University.
