ESCRS from the Excel Centre, London
The XXIV meeting of the ESCRS at the Excel Centre, London was yet another great success for Contamac.
The venue was chosen by Contamac to launch several new and exciting products. These include the CI26R clear, the CI26 yellow, and the Advance Monomer System. These products were developed to respond to the latest trends and demands of the industry. Derek Wilson, Business Development Manager, added, "We expect sales of the products to be significant, as they respond to the current demand voiced by many of the manufacturers".
Contamac also organised tours of their head-quarters situated, north of London. More than 15 intraocular lens manufacturers took the opportunity to visit the state of the art R&D, and recently enlarged production facilities. This insight gave many first time visitors an understanding of why Contamac is a world leader in the field of material development and production for intraocular lenses.
Derek Wilson added: "We look forward to meeting our customers, prospects, and the industry, in Stockholm for the 2007 ESCRS meeting".
