The Optimum range of premium GP materials offer the lowest wetting angles in the industry, outstanding oxygen permeability and high stability, to achieve one goal - on eye comfort. Optimum is FDA approved for a full range of indications such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and aphakia. The balanced properties of Optimum make this material ideally suited for a range of lens designs such as toric, multifocal, keratoconus or corneas with a high oxygen demand. Optimum is offered in four Dk ranges to ensure the eye care professional is offered the opportunity to select the ideal lens designs, in conjunction with gaining clinical control on the physiologic performance. Optimum offers excellent optical quality, durability and wettability, making this range the ideal choice for all indications, but the first choice for presbyopia correction for the speciality lab. Recent innovations have led to the Optimum material gaining FDA approval, for plasma treatment to enhance surface wettability. This enables speciality laboratories to plasma treat GP lenses made with any of our Optimum range.

The F2 materials comprise of fluorosilocone acrylate chemistry, designed to promote the known advantages of improved wettabilty and deposit resistance. This range of workhorse materials has excellent machining characteristics and is ideal for thin lens designs. In addition to routine spherical fits this material can also be used with more sophisticated designs. The fitting characteristics are predictable, as the range offers a variety of Dk values, but has the same chemistry design.

Hybrid FS incorporates "Fluid Surface" technology, which ensures that any available moisture is bound to the surface of the material. Offered in two Dk ranges, these materials do not require any special treatments or activations, but where clinical indications demand a GP lens with a super comfortable surface, choose the Hybrid FS range.
